The Turn Zero "Designer Trust" Summary

Before the formal legal terms, here is our core promise in plain English:

  1. 1.Your Game Belongs 100% to You: Uploading your rulebook, card database, spreadsheet matrices, or Tabletop Simulator files to Turn Zero does not give us any ownership or rights to your intellectual property.
  2. 2.We Will Never Share or Sell Your Ideas: Your game design, mechanics, theme, artwork, and simulation balance data will never be disclosed to third parties, published, or sold.
  3. 3.Your Data Is Not Used to Train Public AI: Your uploads are processed strictly inside isolated, secure, private simulation nodes. We do not feed your proprietary rulesets into public LLM training datasets.
  4. 4.You Can Request Immediate Deletion: At any point, you can purge your project files and simulation history from our databases.

Formal Agreement

1. Purpose of Disclosure

The Submitter desires to submit certain proprietary game rules, component manifests, mechanics matrices, mathematical flowcharts, artwork, and game-state data (collectively, the "Project Materials") to Turn Zero for the sole purpose of executing algorithmic playtesting, mathematical balance analytics, and synthetic agent simulations (the "Authorized Purpose").

2. Definition of Confidential Information

"Confidential Information" shall mean any and all non-public, proprietary, or confidential information disclosed by the Submitter to Turn Zero, whether orally, visually, in writing, or via electronic upload through the Turn Zero web application, API, or local client interfaces. Confidential Information includes, without limitation:

  • Game Mechanics & Rules: Rulebooks, mechanics, phase transitions, action-economy frameworks, and card interactions.
  • Component Databases: Card decks, probability spreadsheets, numerical value tables, JSON state schema, and Tabletop Simulator / Screentop scripts.
  • Creative Intellectual Property: Game titles, thematic lore, character profiles, visual mockups, box designs, and card artwork.
  • Simulation Data: Raw simulation logs, delta comparison reports, win-rate distribution heatmaps, and bug diagnostic logs generated by Turn Zero for Your specific project.

3. Obligations of Turn Zero (Non-Disclosure & Non-Use)

Turn Zero agrees to hold all Confidential Information in strict confidence and shall execute the following protections:

  1. Strict Non-Disclosure: Turn Zero shall not disclose, publish, transmit, transfer, or make available any Confidential Information to any third party without the express prior written consent of the Submitter.
  2. Restriction of Use: Turn Zero shall use the Confidential Information solely for the Authorized Purpose. Turn Zero shall not use Your Confidential Information to build, design, or commercialize competing tabletop or digital games.
  3. Internal Access Controls: Access to Submitter Confidential Information is restricted strictly to automated simulation containers and Turn Zero personnel who require access to maintain backend operations or perform white-glove balance audits (under signed confidentiality agreements).
  4. Model Isolation: Proprietary game data uploaded by the Submitter will be processed exclusively using air-gapped or dedicated private model instances. Turn Zero explicitly covenants that Submitter game rules and data will never be contributed to external, open-source, or public model training sets.

4. Intellectual Property Ownership

  • 100% Submitter Retention: The Submitter retains all right, title, and interest in and to their Confidential Information, including all worldwide patent, copyright, trademark, and trade secret rights. Nothing in this Agreement grants Turn Zero any express or implied license or ownership over Your game concepts, mechanics, or art.
  • Analytical Outputs: All balance analytics, win-rate charts, action heatmaps, and simulation reports generated for Your project belong exclusively to You. Turn Zero claims no ownership over the report data delivered to Your client account.

5. Data Security & Storage Architecture

Turn Zero agrees to implement industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect Confidential Information:

  • Encryption: All uploads, asset transfers, and API communications are encrypted in transit via TLS 1.3 and at rest via AES-256 encryption.
  • Database Isolation: Active game project slots, version revisions, and move logs are strictly segregated at the database schema level to prevent cross-tenant data leakage.

6. Exclusions from Confidentiality

Confidential Information does not include information that:

  1. Is or becomes publicly known through no breach or fault of Turn Zero.
  2. Was already known to Turn Zero prior to disclosure by the Submitter without restriction.
  3. Is independently developed by Turn Zero without reference to or reliance upon the Submitter's Confidential Information.
  4. Is required to be disclosed by law, regulation, or court order (provided Turn Zero gives prompt written notice to the Submitter to allow protective legal action).

7. Term & Data Deletion

  • Duration: The confidentiality obligations of this Agreement shall remain in effect indefinitely from the date of disclosure.
  • Right to Purge: Upon written request or user-initiated deletion through the Turn Zero platform dashboard, Turn Zero shall immediately and permanently delete all uploaded Project Materials, component files, and associated simulation database records from its active servers.

8. Governing Law & Severability

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
